When my folks first "discovered" the ski area and Durango in the late 1960's, it changed the whole course of my childhood..... One visit convinced them that buying Durango real estate was not only a sound financial investment but an important component in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Creating ever-lasting memories and enjoying life was what my parents (raising 4 little girls!) dreamed about, so they took that first step in buying a second/vacation property, and have owned in Durango ever since. Growing up in Albuquerque, it was an easy commute to Durango to enjoy holidays, summer camping, and long weekends. I still remember my first ski trip to Purgatory. While I didn't actually ski because I was only two, the excitement of catching snowflakes on our eyelashes, giggling and frolicking in the snow, was unforgettable. Now I am blessed to live, work, play and raise my own family here in the Durango mountain and resort community.
